This tool is for permission-based lists only — subscribers and customers who agreed to hear from you. Sending unsolicited bulk email breaks most hosting/mail-provider terms of service and, in many places, the law (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL). Sending is disabled until a site administrator enables it (see bemsIsAuthorized() in the addon code) and a valid mail transport is configured on the server.

How scheduling & delivery works

Queued sendingYour campaign isn't sent in one burst. Every recipient is queued, then sent gradually at your chosen rate to protect deliverability.

SchedulingChoose "Schedule for later" and pick a date/time. The campaign stays queued until that time, then starts sending automatically once a cron job (or manual processing) runs.

Background cronFor fully automatic scheduled sending, your host should call this tool's /cron endpoint with the token shown at installation once a minute.

UnsubscribeEvery email gets a working unsubscribe link automatically. Anyone who clicks it is added to a permanent suppression list and skipped on all future sends.

Rate limitingSending slowly in batches (rather than all at once) reduces the chance of being flagged as spam by mail providers.
